PS11 Chess Team Has Big Wins at City Championship!

An incredible weekend for our PS11 Chess team at the City Championship in Brooklyn this weekend. Our team of 39 players battled over two days displaying incredible team spirit and having fun playing chess! Congratulations to Oli (U1100) and Luca (U400) for getting medals by scoring 4 out of 5 in their sections. Our teams brought home trophies:, the Elementary Championship team ( Viggo, Joshua, Lois and Avaan) played 6 tough rounds to come in fifth in the City. The Elementary U1100 team (Oliver, Eisa, Aarush, Elliott and Ali) also snagged a fifth place trophy. PS 11 continue to be a force to reckon with in chess! Go Chelsea Chessmates!
