Read-a-thon Launches on February 6, 2023

Grow Our Minds With Reading 2023 Read-A-Thon

To recap, there are 3 forms you will use in the Read-A-Thon.

 

1. Personal fundraising page form on GivingFuel.  This form is used to create a personal fundraising page to help raise money for the school.  Please create it at home:  https://ps11pta.givingfuel.com/crowd/2023-read-a-thon/sign-up 


3rd Annual Read-A-Thon: Grow Your Mind with Reading.  To plant the seeds for success, join us from the ground up:  1) set up your children's fundraising page by clicking the sign up Link.  Follow the directions; they only take a few minutes. There is one page per family. Collect donations by emailing your fundraising page link to family and friends. 2. Daily Minute Worksheet - Kids will fill out the # of mins they have read EACH DAY starting Feb 6.

 


Tips for your young garderner during the readathon.  Set a goal to read X number of minutes each day during the read a thon (feb 6-17) 2. Find a timer to record minutes.  3. Record their minutes read on the Daily Minute Worksheet each day 4. 
 Only track minutes read outside of school

 

 

3. PS11 Minute Tracker Form

 

 This Google form is used to enter your child(ren)'s total number of minutes read at the end of each read-a-thon week.  They can refer to their Daily Minutes Worksheet to total up their minutes.

Reading from Feb.6-Feb 16 (record minutes on Feb 11 and Feb 17. Get Donations in until February 28.  March 1 announce prizes.
Prizes for weekly raffles, class participation and most minutes read per grade!
