Legal Services
Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, LLP, an area law firm, works to provide free legal services to current low-income P.S.11 students and their families. The scope of the legal services they will provide varies on a case-by-case basis, but generally will include matters related to housing, public benefits, immigration and family law issues. All communications shared with a Kramer Levin attorney about legal issues will remain confidential, and will not be disclosed to P.S.11 or anyone else, without your permission. Kramer Levin hosts free legal clinics at P.S.11 during the school year. If you would like to speak to a Kramer Levin attorney about a legal issue, please contact Stephen McGill, the Parent Coordinator, for a referral form. Kramer Levin cannot provide legal services in certain situations such as criminal matters, issues or conflicts involving P.S.11, and matters that have no relation to a P.S.11 student’s well being or ability to attend school.
