Enrichment Program
Each teacher creates an individual enrichment class in a subject area that interests them. A complete list of these class offerings is distributed to each student and then students must sign up for the class of their choice. These classes meet Thursdays during the last period. This year Kindergarten, First, and Second graders will have one cycle of enrichment classes, while Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades will have two cycles.
K-2 Enrichment
Mosaic Murals, Puppets Around the World, Swimming, Origami, Merengue, Calendar Making, Jewelry Making, Cheerleading and Mask Making are just a few of the options offered in a 10 week cycle for our primary students.
3-5 Enrichment
Comic Book Making, Trash with Panache, Kids Care Club, Basketball, T-Shirt Design, and Tap Dancing are some of the options offered on a rotating basis for our intermediate students.
All Age Enrichment
Some enrichment topics can show up in both enrichment groups, like yoga, arts and crafts, dance, and Paper Airplanes.
