Welcome to the Dance Studio at PS11
The Dance Studio at PS 11 is led by Rachel A. Wurman, M.A., a Dance Educator, Choreographer, and Curriculum Developer for 16 lucky years.
Important notes about the dance studio:
1. We dance barefoot, just as you would in any dance studio.
2. Make sure your dancer is wearing shoes that can easily be removed and put back on. This is especially important for kindergarteners and 1st graders.
3. Girls should not wear tights on dance day. Please remember which day your dancer has class to help us move our best.
4. 2nd and 3rd graders should be able to put their own socks and shoes on. Please practice tying shoes with your children.
